Long before Coluxe Lumière™ became a brand, it began with a simple passion for helping people feel beautiful.
As a young girl, I discovered that styling hair was about far more than appearance. Every braid, every style, and every transformation had the power to help someone see themselves differently. Behind every appointment was a person carrying a unique story, and I found joy in helping them leave feeling more confident than when they arrived.
What began as a creative gift gradually became something much deeper. It became a calling—one rooted in compassion, excellence, and the belief that confidence can truly change lives.
I didn’t yet know where that calling would lead, but every experience behind the chair was preparing me for something far greater.
the turning point
The moment everything changed
There are moments in life that quietly redirect the course of your future.
For me, that moment came through a conversation I never expected to have.
While working in the community, I had the privilege of supporting someone during a difficult medical season. Following a medical procedure, she shared that she had been prescribed a medical wig. Wanting to better understand the process and support her journey, I accompanied her to a boutique specializing in medical wigs so she could explore her options.
As we looked through the selections, I noticed something that stayed with me.
Every wig available was synthetic.
While those wigs certainly served an important purpose, I couldn’t help but wonder why women experiencing one of life’s most vulnerable seasons weren’t being offered natural human hair options that looked, felt, and moved like their own hair.
In that moment, a simple thought became the beginning of something much greater.
“There Has to Be a Better Way.”
I began imagining what was possible.
What if medical hair replacement could be luxurious without sacrificing function?
What if a cranial prosthesis could restore not only appearance, but confidence?
What if women didn’t have to choose between medical necessity and feeling like themselves?
That question became the foundation of a new vision.
I realized I wasn’t simply being called to style hair.
I was being called to help restore confidence during life’s most difficult moments.
That realization led me to pursue specialized education in cranial prosthetics and ultimately transformed the direction of my business. What began as a passion for beauty evolved into a commitment to serving individuals experiencing medically related hair loss with dignity, compassion, and excellence.

Inspired by a renewed sense of purpose, I officially established my business in January 2023 under the name Creations Unlimited LLC.
At the time, the name reflected everything I loved about creativity. I wanted the freedom to build, create, and serve without limitation.
During those early years, I invested countless hours into education, refining my skills, and expanding my knowledge of healthy hair care, restorative beauty, and cranial prosthetics.
Every client, every certification, every challenge, and every lesson became another building block in what would eventually become Coluxe Lumière™.

The Story Behind the Name & Rebrand
When I launched my business as Creations Unlimited LLC, it was a reflection of my creativity, versatility, and limitless ideas. I was doing it all—styling, transforming, building. The name gave me room to grow…but as I evolved, so did my vision.
Then came a conversation with my trademark attorney that shifted everything.
They explained that Creations Unlimited was too broad to protect legally—a name that didn’t stand apart in the marketplace, and one I wouldn’t be able to fully own.
That’s when I realized: this wasn’t just a business—it was a brand with a deeper calling. I needed a name that captured luxury, confidence, purpose, and protection.
And so, Coluxe Lumière™ was born.

In 2023, that vision officially became a business with the formation of Creations Unlimited LLC. The name reflected creativity, versatility, and limitless possibilities. During this season, the foundation was built through continued education, professional growth, and a commitment to serving every client with excellence.

Everything changed after learning about cranial prosthetics through Karen Bailey’s medical journey. What began as curiosity quickly became purpose. Understanding that medically related hair loss impacts confidence as much as appearance inspired specialized training to help individuals experiencing chemotherapy, alopecia, autoimmune disorders, and other forms of medical hair loss.

As the vision grew, it became clear that the business needed a name that reflected both its purpose and its future. Following guidance from a trademark attorney, Creations Unlimited evolved into Coluxe Lumière™—a distinctive brand representing confidence, luxury, healing, and light. The rebrand wasn’t simply about protecting a name; it was about building a legacy.
